Del the Funkee Homosapien’s new album Eleventh Hour is not worth the anticipation that it has received. This is a long awaited album form Del the Funkee and it is mainly battle raps in which he picks on various groups of people. He lashes out at other rappers and adversaries in the songs Bubble Pop and Foot Down. Del also bashes girls in Hold Your Hand in which he talks about how girls only want to be with guys so they can get things. It is not a bad album. Situations, and Last Hurrah are catchy and well -written songs that sound like old hip hop and offer a feel good vibe. It just does not compare to the funky beats and style of his older albums.

It has been seven years since the release of Deltron 3030. The style of this album is much different than 3030 and his other albums like Both Sides of the Brain. The end of the album begins to pick up but the beginning is pretty mellow. For any Del fan it is definitely worth checking out. The album is self-produced by Del The Funkee himself. The beats, flow and lyrics are well put together, but it is not as funky as we know him to be.
